I've worked in animal rescue since 2012 and I got started by photographing for rescues! Eventually I widened my knowledge and experience by working in the field for rescues, fostering behavioral and medical cases, doing dog training as well as behavior assessments and enrichment at shelters (including help build the Dogs Playing for Life program at The Animal Foundation LV in 2016) and talking to the community on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as finding solutions to help keep animals in their forever homes.
I was honored to be employed at Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary in 2015 before my move back to Las Vegas, which taught me many valuable things in the way I work and photograph with rescue animals now. From 2016 to 2019 I was employed at The Animal Foundation as their Canine Playgroup Specialist and A Behavior Specialist full-time which has also greatly influenced my work. Due to this intensive background, I’m very comfortable photographing pets and animals that may be considered “difficult” or have certain medical or behavioral issues.
